Meet the Author

Kate Zvara (right) resides in Ohio with her husband and daughters. She was born into a horse family and knows no other lifestyle, nor would she want to. She owns and operates a horse farm that offers riding lessons, children’s camps, horse boarding and birthday parties. Her true passion is simply sharing her 40 years of horse experience with other horse lovers. It is Kate’s vision to inspire, encourage, and share her faith with young children by authoring true stories of the horses she has been so fortunate to care for and love.

Meet Lulu

Kahlua Royale, affectionately known as “Lulu” was an Appendix Quarter Horse mare by multiple World and Congress champion Artful Move. Her dam, Koa Lua Royale, aka Koa, produced multiple World and Congress champions, finishing her breeding career in Texas. Lulu gave my family more than any accolade can. She taught my girls to ride, loved on them and kept them safe every step of the way. I will forever be grateful for this mare. Lulu taught me so much; she was a neck to cry on and a nose to kiss through many of life’s ups and downs. Thank you Lord for this precious gift. I will cherish her memory forever.
